Chemistry Stock Room
The Chemistry Stockroom serves all Rice University departments, research groups, and service centers with a valid funding source. We provide stock items in the general categories of chemicals, glassware, lab supplies, hardware, dry ice, and liquid nitrogen. Chemicals such as acetone, chloroform, glycerin, ethanol, and methanol are also in stock. Unfortunately, items cannot be purchased by individuals or personnel not associated with Rice University.

Facilities & Capital Planning
Rice University's Facilities and Capital Planning department is a comprehensive maintenance, custodial, grounds, project management, and utility operation. Our team members provide service to over 6.75 million square feet of facilities, over 90 buildings, and 285 acres of grounds that include approximately 4,300 cataloged trees. These efforts are accomplished through a skilled and licensed staff of approximately 292 Rice employees with assistance from consultants, contractors, and temporary employees.
