Mission

The mission of the Research Administration Mentoring Program (RAMP UP) is to foster professional development, knowledge sharing, and career growth for Research Administration staff across Rice. 

Specific Program Goals

  • To support the professional development of Research Administration staff at Rice.
  • To contribute to a culture of collaboration and support among Research Administration staff across Rice.
  • Develop professional networks and identify future leaders in Research Administration at Rice.

Operational Details

The program runs two cohorts a year, with mentee and mentors entering into six month partnerships.

Mentors and mentees express interest to participate through their response to an announcement made on the research-l listserve

Mentors and mentees commit at the outset to meet at least once per month.

Who Can Participate?

All staff involved in research administration, including pre- award, post-award, compliance, and research finance.
